| 内容記述 | 中国故事を和訳した説話集『語園』は、従来その典拠である中国古典との関係を中心に研究されてきたが、知識の選別と再構築に込められた編纂理念や教化思想への考察は十分ではなかった。本稿は、上下巻の構成分析を通じてその編纂論理を解明するものである。上巻が「修身・斉家・治国」という儒教の思想に基づき規範の体系を構築し、下巻が具体的な処世術へと展開することで読者の内面化を促すという「規範から実践へ」と向かう精緻な構造を明らかにした。これにより、『語園』が単なる和訳した故事集に留まらず、理想的人間像の育成を目指した体系的な教訓書であることを論じてみた。 | |||||||||

| 内容記述 | The tale collection Goen, a Japanese translation of Chinese historical tales, has conventionally been studied mainly in relation to its sources, the Chinese classics. However, consideration of the compilation philosophy and didactic thought embedded within its selection and reconstruction of knowledge has been insufficient. This paper clarifies its compilation logic through a structural analysis of its upper and lower volumes. It has clarified an elaborate structure that moves from norm to practice,wherein the upper volume constructs a system of norms based on the Confucian ideals of self-cultivation, family-ordering, and state-governing (修身・斉家・治国), while the lower volume develops these into practical life skills to encourage the reader’s internalization. Through this analysis, this paper argues that the Goen is not merely a collection of translated tales, but a systematic moral textbook that aimed to cultivate an ideal human figure. | |||||||||
