| 内容記述 | 「障害者差別解消法」施行および筆者が学修支援相談員の職に就いてから10年を迎えるのを機に、学修支援センターにおける障がい学生支援の取り組みを振り返ってみた。前半では「障害者差別解消法」成立までの国内の法整備の経緯や文部科学省の指針を紹介し、「合理的配慮」の概念について整理した、後半は国内法整備の経緯と比較しながら本学の障がい学生支援体制の変遷を振り返るとともに、学修支援センターにおける現在の体制や申請手続きについて説明し、またこの10年の授業配慮支援申請者数の変化とその要因についても概観した。すると、コロナ禍では授業形式の変化により申請者の減少や障がい種の割合の変化などがあったものの、年々申請者数は増加し、学生が求める配慮支援内容も多様化していることが見えてきた。また障がい学生が配慮支援を希望する根底には、教員に事情を理解してもらい安心して授業に臨みたいという学生の思いがあることも示した。今後の課題としては教職員全体の理解促進と専門人材の配置が求められる。 | |||||||||||

| 内容記述 | This paper reflects on the initiatives undertaken by the Learning Support Center to support students with disabilities, prompted by Taking advantage of the fact that it will soon be 10 years of both the enforcement of the Act on the Elimination of Discrimination against Persons with Disabilities and the author’s appointment as a learning support counselor. The first half of this article introduces the history of domestic legal developments leading up to the enactment of the Act and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology guidelines, and outlines the concept of "reasonable accommodation." The second half compares the history of domestic legal developments with the current system and application procedures at the Learning Support Center, and also provides an overview of the changes in the number of applicants for class accommodations over the past 10 years and their causes. The analysis reveals that while the COVID-19 pandemic brought about shifts in instructional formats that led to a temporary decline in applications and changes in the distribution of disability types, the overall number of applicants has continued to rise annually. Furthermore, the nature of requested accommodations has become increasingly diverse. The findings also suggest that students’ desire for support is fundamentally rooted in a wish to have their circumstances understood by faculty members, thereby enabling them to engage in coursework with a sense of security. Future challenges include promoting broader understanding among faculty and staff and ensuring the placement of specialized personnel | |||||||||||
